ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 27-year-old St. Louis man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman found badly injured on a stretch of railroad tracks, police said Saturday.
Anthony Newberry was also charged with kidnapping and robbery related to Lynette Lecates’ death, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
Lecates was found May 23 on a stretch of St. Louis railroad tracks and rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The 41-year-old St. Louis woman died roughly two weeks later.
