Bucks: Eric Bledsoe heading to Milwaukee in trade, ESPN reports

The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks are finalizing a trade that will send point guard Eric Bledsoe to Milwaukee for Greg Monroe and first-round and second-round draft picks, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Tuesday morning in this story.

The teams reached an agreement in principle on terms of a deal late Monday night, and were spending early Tuesday finalizing medical evaluations on the players involved before formalizing a trade, league sources said, Wojnarowski reported.

He said there would be lottery protections on the first-round pick.

The Bucks (4-5) play at Cleveland on Tuesday night, but Bledsoe is not expected to join the team until they travel to San Antonio on Wednesday, multiple sources told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.

Bledsoe, who averaged a career-high 21.1 points per game last season, had a falling out with the Suns earlier this season and was sent home last month after tweeting, “I don’t wanna be here.”
