CHARLIE SHEEN RAKES IN MORE THAN $4 MILLION FOR BABE RUTH’S CONTRACT AND THE BAMBINO’S FIRST WORLD SERIES RING
Charlie Sheen auctioned off two of Babe Ruth’s most prized items he owned -
the 1927 World Series ring and Ruth’s sale from the Red Sox to the New York Yankees - at the first Lelands.com Invitational Auction on Friday. He’s now $4 million richer. While both items had initial bids of $100,000, the ring went for $2,093,927 while the contract went for $2,303,320. “These record-breaking prices show once again that Babe Ruth dominates the baseball auction world the same way he did the game,” Lelands.com founder and chairman Josh Evans said.
