April Dawn Torske-deKoning
April Dawn Torske-deKoning, 29, of Pawnee City, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Pawnee County Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1989, to David Torske and Rhonda Lytle in Beatrice, Nebraska.
April was born in Beatrice and raised in Wymore, Nebraska. She graduated from Wymore High School in 2007.
She married Toke deKoning in Beatrice, Nebraska, on November 6, 2008. To this union three children were born, Taiton, Ethan (Teagan) and Talon.
April and Toke lived at Ft. Bragg and Fort Riley while Toke was in the Military. April was a very dedicated Military wife and mother. After Toke was discharged they lived in Beatrice and last they lived in Pawnee City.
April loved playing ball in the park with her children and just spending time in the park with them. She loved reading books to her children. April was always in awe of the joys of nature.
Her motto was “Live, Laughing, and Loving.”
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Glenna (Betty) Lytle, grandpa, Don Torske, aunts, Cherie Lytle and Mary Ensign.
She is survived by her husband Toke deKoning of Beatrice, children, Taiton, Ethan (Teagan), Talon, step daughter Tayla, parents, David Torske of Beatrice, Rhonda Lytle, of Beatrice, step father, Mike Lytle of Beatrice, sister, Amber Torske of Red Wood Falls, Minn, grandmother, Jan Funderberg of Beatrice, grandfather Ron Lytle of Wymore, , Mother-in-law and spouse, Dixie and Kenny Kimes of Beatrice, father-in-law and spouse, Lynn and Cecilia deKoning of Burchard, NE, brother-in-laws, Buck deKoning, Wade deKoning and Thye deKoning, and their families, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Memorial services 2 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the United Presbyterian Church in Wymore, Nebraska. Officiating Pastor Jim McNeal. Register book available for signing on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G St., Pawnee City, Nebraska. Private family inurnment at a later date.
