Red-listed bridge in Manchester up for rehabilitation
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is planning to discuss the rehabilitation of a red-listed bridge carrying the road over Interstate 293 and Route 101 in Manchester.
A public meeting via Zoom is scheduled for June 22 at 7 p.m. The rehabilitation work will be done in two phases, with alternating one-way traffic with temporary traffic signals. One sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians during construction.
The project is expected to last seven months and start in the spring of 2022.
A state red-listed bridge is considered to be in poor condition.
