Police: Death of infant at Albuquerque hotel not suspicious
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — An infant has been found dead in a Albuquerque hotel, according to police.
They said officers were called to the Roadway Inn on Sunday morning in reference to a child who unconscious and not breathing.
The infant was declared dead at the scene.
Police haven’t released the child’s name, age or gender.
They originally said the infant’s death appeared to be suspicious, but that was ruled out by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
However, detectives with the Crimes Against Children Unit will continue investigating the death.
