City council approves contract for Water Pollution Control Plant improvements

NORFOLK - The Norfolk City Council approved a contract for work to be done at the Water Pollution Control Plant.

During Monday’s meeting, Wastewater Plant Superintendent Todd Boiling told council members the contract includes three phases of construction.

Boiling said so much needed improvements will be addressed.

He said the contract is with Olsson & Associates for an amount of $249,700.

The council voted unanimously to approve the contract.
