Norfolk Salvation Army holds annual Civic Luncheon
NORFOLK - The Norfolk Salvation Army held its annual Civic Luncheon yesterday Tuesday.
During the luncheon the volunteer of the year and citizen of the year were named.
Larry Voecks was recognized as the volunteer of the year as he has been an engaged advisory board member for many years, and has served on multiple committees.
The citizen of the year was Mark Claussen who is at numerous community events surrounded by children and families throughout the year including his commitment with Read Aloud Norfolk.
The Norfolk Lions Club was also the recipient of the volunteer bell ringer award.
The keynote speaker of the event was Husker softball Head coach Rhonda Revelle.
