Two Oregon women injured in vehicle rollover

Two Oregon women were injured a vehicle rollover Sunday on Interstate 90, near Vantage. Kaylee Scott, 19, of Milton-Freewater, Ore., was driving a 2007 black Ford Mustang eastbound at 6:52 a.m. and failed to negotiate a curve, according to the Washington State Patrol. Her vehicle left the roadway to the right, rolled and came to rest on its side. Alicia Lancaster, 18, of Milton-Freewater, Ore., was a passenger in Scott’s car, according to the WSP. Both Lancaster and Scott were injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center. The cause of the crash was falling asleep while driving, according to the WSP. Scott faces charges of second-degree negligent driving.
