Special Olympics bowlers excel at Unified State Bowling Tournament

The Pierre Special Olympics bowling team had a very successful weekend as four teams finished in first place at the Unified State Bowling Tournament at the Eastway Bowl in Sioux Falls.

Winning first place in their respective divisions were four two-person teams: Lacey High Elk and Eric Nugent; Tanisha Davis and Jessica Headley; Marcus Mancuso and Caleb Douglas; and Kick High Elk Jr. and Devin Plumman. The team of Keith Boardman and Jared Anderson finished in second place. Ron Farris finished in third place, while the team of Spencer Davis and Kyle Stalling also finished in third place. Abby Farris finished in sixth place, while the team of Mia Neal and Kelly Fetter also finished in sixth place.
