PLANO, Texas (AP) _ Green Brick Partners Inc. (GRBK) on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of $33.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Plano, Texas-based company said it had net income of 66 cents.

The real estate investment company posted revenue of $232.8 million in the period.

Green Brick Partners shares have risen 25% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $14.39, a climb of 56% in the last 12 months.
