Prep roundup 4-16-18: Century, Poky compete at Dale Mower Classic

DALE MOWER CLASSIC
The Century boys and Pocatello boys finished 11th and 14th, respectively, Monday at the Dale Mower Classic at the Jerome Country Club. The D-backs’ top scorer was Nathan Bardsley with an 82, while the Indians’ RJ Hall carded a team-best 88. The Preston girls did not have enough golfers to place Monday, though Makenna Coburn tallied a team-best 114.
Century and Pocatello compete Tuesday at the Falls Classic at Sage Lake Golf Course.

BONNEVILLE 8, BLACKFOOT 0
Blackfoot was blanked 8-0 at home Monday against Bonneville.
The Broncos managed two hits and tallied five errors in the field. Carlos Pimentel and Caleb Wilson had one hit each for the Broncos, who trailed 3-0 after three innings.
Blackfoot (8-7, 4-3 4A District 5-6) hosts Pocatello on Thursday.
