Portage police notebook for April 16, 2018

Between 8:18 a.m. Thursday and 7:18 a.m. Monday, police responded to 145 calls.
Wayne Bartels Middle School: Police on Thursday at 3:18 p.m. responded to a report of a 11-year-old boy yelling and punching things, who was later referred to Columbia County Health and Human Services for disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.
Wayne Bartels Middle School: Police on Friday at 8:21 a.m. responded to an incident in which a 13-year-old girl was referred to Columbia County Health and Human Services for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana on school grounds.
West Highway 33 and Caledonia Street: Police on Friday at 5:08 p.m. responded to a reported traffic accident where a vehicle had been rear-ended. Parker Tollefson, 18, of Portage, was cited for inattentive driving.
New Pinery Road and Hiawatha Avenue: Police on Saturday at 12:49 a.m. stopped a vehicle for speeding whereupon the passenger, Max Weber, 18, of Marshfield, was cited for underage possession of alcohol as a first offense.
Wauona Trail: Police on Saturday at 10:18 p.m. responded to a domestic disturbance where a 30-year-old Portage woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic disorderly conduct and negligent handling of burning materials, accused of setting the curtains on fire during an argument.
