BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A man shot his estranged wife after leaving a counseling office in Louisiana and then killed himself, authorities said.
East Baton Rouge Coroner Beau Clark identified the shooter as Richard Randall Ray, 53, who died at the scene Tuesday.
The woman, shot in her leg and arm, was taken to an area hospital and is expected to recover, WAFB-TV reported.
The two had just met with a counselor in Baton Rouge and were leaving when the shooting happened.
