Fugitive wanted in connection to Layton shooting arrested in Nevada

A man who is the main suspect in connection to a Layton shooting has been arrested in Nevada following a police chase.

ABC4 is reporting Eddie Angelo Samora, 31, was arrested in Sparks, Nevada after a police chase early Tuesday morning.

KOLO, an ABC station based in Reno, is reporting Samora crashed into another car, which led to his apprehension. No one was seriously injured in the crash, the report says.

Samora is the main suspect in connection with a shooting that took place around the 1600 North block of Avalon Drive in Layton that occurred Thursday, Oct. 26.

The shooting left one man with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was later transported to a Salt Lake City hospital.
