WVC FIELD HOCKEY ROUNDUP: Wyoming Area, Lake-Lehman Play To Stalemate
At Lake-Lehman, goalkeepers Amy Supey of Lake-Lehman and Ellie Glatz of Wyoming Area each put forth tremendous efforts, although their respective offenses were unable to score as the teams battled to a 0-0 tie in WVC field hockey Thursday.
Supey made 11 saves for Lehman. Glatz had four stops for WA.

At Dallas, Chloe Greene scored the overtime game-winner as time expired, leading Crestwood to a come-from-behind win on the road.
Alexis Armstrong also scored for Crestwood, tying the game after Hannah Yanovich scored to give Dallas a lead.
Crestwood goalkeeper Olivia Novrocki had 13 saves.

At Delaware Valley, Kate Barilla’s goal with no time left in the first half lifted Wyoming Seminary to a narrow win.
Emily Festa played a great game for Delaware Valley, making 13 saves against the unbeaten Blue Knights. Mia Magnotta had a two-save shutout for Sem.

At Northwest, Sydney Franchella scored two goals — including the 50th of her career — in a win on the Rangers’ home turf.
Emily Culver also scored two goals with an assist for Northwest. Lauren Okuniewski had a goal and an assist.
Tunkhannock goalkeeper Jonica Shay made 10 saves.

Meredythe Baird made seven saves and earned a shutout for Redeemer.

At Meyers, Alexis Nevel and Nadia Lombardi each scored late goals and helped Berwick erase a one-goal deficit and win.
Erin Leonard scored for GAR, which gave the Grenadiers a 1-0 lead in the second half.
The win was Berwick’s fifth decided by a one-goal margin.
