State archery 3D target tournament is May 4-5
Young people from across the state will compete in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) State 3D Tournament in Yankton on May 4 and 5, according to a news release. Shooting will begin at 5:00 pm on Friday,May 4 and continue at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 5 at the NFAA/Easton Archery Facility. The 3D Tournament uses life-size game animals as targets. Students who participate in NASP within their schools or home-school programs are eligible to participate. There is no charge to attend the tournament, and the public is welcome.
The tournament is sponsored by the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks and will host hundreds of young archers competing for individual and team honors in three age divisions. For more information, or to volunteer, call 605.220.2130 or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
