Nebraska-Omaha men’s basketball outlasts Denver in double overtime

The Nebraska-Omaha men’s basketball team outlasted Denver 86-80 in double overtime last night at Baxter Arena in Omaha.

Zach Jackson led four players in double figures for the Mavericks with 26 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. Jake Pemberton led three players in double figures for the Pioneers with 20 points and five boards. The game was tied at the end of regulation 63-63 and at the end of the first overtime 74-74. Nebraska-Omaha improves to 7-14 overall and 2-3 in the Summit League while Denver falls to 7-12 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
