Frost, Dewitt at NFL Draft in Dallas to support UCF standouts

Jovan Dewitt is in the midst of a busy stretch recruiting.

Scott Frost has plenty to work on in Lincoln.

Neither, though, would miss the chance to see their former players experience the NFL Draft.

Both Dewitt and Frost are at the draft at AT&T Stadium in Dallas supporting former players from Central Florida.

Griffin, of course, is the two-time American Athletic Conference defensive player of the year and stole the national spotlight at the NFL Combine in March by running a 4.38-second 40-yard dash and doing 20 repetitions on the bench press despite having one hand.

Griffin is attending the draft, although the consensus seems to be that he’s more likely to be drafted Friday or Saturday rather than Thursday night’s first round.

Former Knights cornerback Mike Hughes is expected to be drafted early, potentially in the first round.
