Marywood Falls In Field Hockey

Kaila Hindt scored two goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime to give Wesley College a 2-1 win over Marywood University in a college field hockey match Friday.

Angelan Sanchez gave Marywood (7-4) a 1-0 lead with a goal in the fourth minute. Hindt tied the game in the 18th minute and then scored the game-winner on an unassisted breakaway.

Women’s volleyball

Eastern University defeated the University of Scranton, 3-1, on the opening night of the Rowan Quad four-team tournament. Eryn Boken had 12 kills for the Royals (12-11) and Kristin Kirwan had 11 kills.
