Jamison Crowder, Chris Thompson active vs. Eagles

December 4, 2018 GMT

PHILADELPHIA Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder and running back Chris Thompson are active for Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both are returning at a good time for the Redskins, given the importance of this NFC East matchup. Crowder has missed the last seven games with an ankle injury, while Thompson has been out the last four with a fractured rib.

The Redskins, however, will be without cornerback Quinton Dunbar (shin), defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis (calf and wide receiver Trey Quinn (ankle).

Dunbar and Quinn aggravated existing injuries on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys. Dunbar did not practice in lead up to the Eagles and Quinn was held out on Saturday.

Ioannidis also suffered a calf injury in Dallas.

Defensive linemen Tim Settle and Stacy McGee are expected to fill in with Ioannidis out.

Besides Dunbar, Quinn and Ioannidis, running backs Byron Marshall and Samaje Perine were listed as inactive.

The Redskins only had to make six players inactive Monday because the roster stands at 52. They have yet to fill Cassanova McKinzy’s spot after the linebacker was placed on injured reserve last week.
