HSINCHU, Taiwan (AP) _ Chipmos Technologies Ltd. (IMOS) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $44.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Hsinchu, Taiwan-based company said it had profit of $1.22.

The computer chip testing and assembly services company posted revenue of $232.8 million in the period.
