Missing infant found safe, search continues for father
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — An infant who had been the subject of an Amber Alert in Tennessee has been found, authorities said Tuesday afternoon.
A tweet from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 7-month-old Braylen Hunter Clark was safe, but the search continued for his noncustodial father, Barry Medlock.
Medlock, 26, is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder, the Memphis Police Department said.
Memphis police say officers began investigating when a woman was dropped off dead at a hospital Sunday and authorities learned she had an infant son who was missing. The boy had been last seen with Medlock on Sunday afternoon and officials issued an Amber Alert late Monday.
Medlock is described as a 6-foot-1 Black male who weighs 180 pounds (80 kilograms) and has black hair and brown eyes.
