Tucson police ID young boy killed in apparent murder-suicide
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Police on Sunday released the name of a boy who was the victim of an apparent murder-suicide at a Tucson home.
They said 10-year-old Sebastian Phillip Foye was declared dead at the scene early Saturday morning with oblivious signs of gunshot trauma.
Police say 40-year-old Phillip Emmanuel Foye apparently fatally shot the boy before turning the gun on himself.
The relationship of the man and boy wasn’t immediately released by police.
Officers who were sent to a home to check the welfare of its occupants discovered a man and a boy both dead.
Police said the man and boy lived together at the residence along with an adult female who was not home at the time of the incident and Phillip Emmanuel Foye was the only adult in the home armed with a gun.
