William O’Reilly was booked into jail Monday on suspicion of aggravated murder, desecration of a corpse and obstruction of justice, Sandy police announced.

His arrest comes after authorities found the body of Masako Kenley, 53, along the Jordan River in a heavily wooded area with thick brush Sunday, police said. She hadn’t been seen since Friday.

It was unknown if O’Reilly, 75, had an attorney. He was in jail Monday afternoon.
