Lanes reopened after crash forces closure of northbound I-15 in Payson
A crash in Payson forced the closure of all lanes of northbound traffic on I-15 in Payson Thursday morning.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, just before 7 a.m., a pickup truck traveling northbound on I-15 crashed, causing a semitrailer to overturn. The crash happened near the 800 South exit of I-15.
There were three occupants in the pickup. One female and one male were transported to Mountain View Hospital in Payson with minor injuries, according to UHP.
The semitrailer, which was carrying baked goods, was blocking all lanes of traffic, UHP said.
Those traveling on I-15 used the on and off ramps at exit 248 to move around the crash.
As of 9:45 a.m., only the right lane of traffic remained closed.
