Driver dies after head-on collision in Sheldon, Vermont
SHELDON, Vt. (AP) — A 71-year-old man died of injuries suffered in a head-on collision in the town of Sheldon, state police said.
Troopers were called Vermont Route 105 in Sheldon just before 2 p.m. Thursday after receiving the report of the crash.
Thomas Finn, of Enosburg Falls, was traveling east when he crossed the double yellow line and collided with a west-bound pickup truck, investigators said. Finn was transported by helicopter to the University of Vermont Medical Center where he later died of his injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries. The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
