Phlebotomy program at local college
Madison College-Watertown will offer a phlebotomist and specimen processor technical diploma program this summer.
The program consists of two classes, Basic Lab Skills (#11320) and Phlebotomy (#11321), which will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, May 28-Aug. 13, from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Phlebotomists are trained to draw blood from patients for clinical or medical testing, transfusions, donations or research.
