Dodge County voters go to the polls Tuesday

Dodge County Voters will go the polls Tuesday with one county-wide election and number of local races, as well as two school referendums, on the ballot.

In addition, there is a statewide race for state superintendent of public instruction with incumbent Tony Evers facing off against Lowell Holtz.

Polls open at 7 a.m. across Wisconsin and close at 8 p.m.

The race for Dodge County Circuit Court Branch II judge is between Martin De Vries and Randall Doyle.

The Beaver Dam mayor’s race pits incumbent Tom Kennedy against Alderperson and County Board Supervisor Becky Glewen. Also in the city of Beaver Dam, incumbent Lisa Davidson faces Richard Barcus for the Ward 9 seat.

In the city of Mayville there is no candidate on the ballot for Ward 3 or Ward 5, but two people have registered as write-in candidates. Molly Henkel is running as a write-in in Ward 3 and Rachel Forster is running as a write-in in Ward 5.

Columbus School Board candidates are Mark Campbell, Julie Hajewski, Kelly Crombie and Cindy Damm. Voters will elect two.

There are three candidates for two seats in Zone 4 of the Mayville School Board and they are Dave Ognenoff, Terri Wilkens and Joe Hohmann. Mayville School District voters are being asked for $24.5 million for improvements to all three schools.

There are three candidates for two city of Waupun seats on the Waupun School Board and they are Stephen Chené, Jennie Patrykus and Dylan Weber.

There are three candidates for two Hustisford School Board seats. The candidates are Steve Weinheimer, Michael Beisbier and Lisa D. Bosse. Hustisford School District voters are being asked for $5.83 million for improvements district-wide.

There are a number of town board races that are contested. In the town of Beaver Dam John Kuzniewicz and Neil Stippich are seeking the town board chair seat. The Supervisor 1 seat is being sought by Jesse Hankes and Jacob Kern.

In the town of Clyman David Blank and Mark Othmer are running against each other for town board chair.

In the town of Fox Lake every seat except judge is a contested race. Carlton Schley and Thomas Wissing are running for town board chair. Ed Benter and Julie Flemming are running for supervisor 1. Christopher Thurk and Wayne Kok are running for supervisor 2. Travis Paul and Raymond Caballero are running for town clerk/treasurer.

In the town of LeRoy Bryan Halverson and Brenda Wenzel are running for treasurer.

In the town of Theresa Dale Dyer and Perry Billings are running for supervisor 1.

In the village of Clyman, Michael Siegel and Daniel Finger are running for village president. The three people seeking two trustee seats are Kathy Vergenz, Amanda Swanson and Jacqueline Hartman-Tollefson.

There is no candidate on the ballot for village president in Hustisford and no one has registered as a write-in candidate.
