Arrest for wrong-way driver in central Greenwich: cops

GREENWICH — A Greenwich motorist is facing numerous charges after police said he was observed driving the wrong way down a street in central Greenwich Sunday afternoon.

Mark Traisman, 31, of Indian Chase Drive, handed police a driver’s license with another person’s name, according to the arrest report, and it was later revealed he did not have a valid license.

Traisman was charged with criminal impersonation, forgery, driving without a license and interfering with a police investigation. He was also given a ticket for driving the wrong way.

He was released without bail.
