CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Kids stretched out their frozen hands to catch the confetti during the Noon Year’s Eve party at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sunday.

Families braved temperatures in the teens to celebrate the arrival of 2018 during the daylight hours with a huge dance party, crafts and visiting with the animals. The Noon Year’s Eve celebration culminated at the stroke of noon with a traditional ball drop to welcome 2018.

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo remains open all winter long, every day from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (It is closed tomorrow on January 1, 2018.)
