SideTrack: Jenny Slate, Julian Edelman, Geena Davis and more...

AND THEY’RE OFF: Some will watch tomorrow’s Belmont Stakes with their eyes on the post positions — we’ll be scanning the stands for our fave sports celebs. After all, Patriots star TB12 hit the Kentucky Derby earlier this year with wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola and QBs Jacoby Brissett and Jimmy Garoppolo. When the strains of “Maryland, My Maryland” kicked off the Preakness Stakes last month, Bill Belichick and girlfriend Linda Holliday were among the crowd. So who’ll be cheering on the thoroughbreds tomorrow? Well, Devin McCourty, Chris Hogan and Rob Gronkowski were all born in New York state, so maybe a visit home is called for.

DEVILISH MOVE: Here’s some head-spinning news (see what we did there) — Geena Davis won’t be returning as a regular on the Fox series “The Exorcist,” TV Guide reports. “I imagine the story will be moving off of my family,” Davis told Adweek.

POSTER GIRL: Anyone who follows Milton’s own Jenny Slate on Instagram knows she’s big on sharing — especially good news. And when promo material started rolling out for her next movie, Slate didn’t hold back: “IM SO EXCITED!!! My ‘Obvious Child’ director and writers and I have a new movie!!! The official poster for #LandlineMovie is here! Make sure to like this and stay tuned for the trailer coming soon. In select theaters July 21, everywhere August 4.” We’re passing the word, Jen.
