Sheriff: 3 teenagers charged for home invasion
HURLEY, Miss. (AP) — Authorities say three teenagers have been charged in connection with a home invasion in Mississippi.
News outlets report that the teenagers were arrested Friday afternoon on a home invasion charge.
Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said in a press release that the teenagers were armed with guns and barged into a home on the night of New Year’s. The homeowner told deputies that the teenagers kicked in the front door, threatened her son and fled.
They are being charged as adults and being held at the Jackson County Jail without bond. It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
The Associated Press does not typically identify juveniles.
