Green Bay Packers corner Lenzy Pipkins among standouts in Sunday loss
USA Today’s Anthony Nash writes that former Oklahoma State, current Green Bay Packers cornerback Lenzy Pipkins was one of the team’s standouts in Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
“In a secondary riddled by injuries, undrafted cornerback Lenzy Pipkins provided a rare breath of fresh air for the Packers,” Nash writes. “Pipkins recorded six tackles against the Vikings after being thrust into the game once more injuries piled up.
“The young cornerback didn’t shine in coverage but didn’t seem entirely lost, and might prove himself to be an upgrade over the likes of Quinten Rollins.”
