Crop and livestock budgets to be highlighted at farm show

January 15, 2019

NORFOLK - Establishing crop and livestock budgets and planning for next year will be highlighted during the 32nd annual Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show this week.

UNL Extension Educator Glennis McClure says the 2019 crop budgets were just recently released, and she’ll be going over the key points.

“We have 78 different budgets that are posted online now and those represent 15 different crops. So alone there’s probably close to 30 corn budgets both irrigated and dry land budgets that folks can look at.”

The session is set for noon Thursday January 17th.

The 32nd annual Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show is set for Wednesday and Thursday at the Chuck Pohlman Ag Complex on the campus of Northeast Community College.
