Vegas police: Car crashes after driver shot, wounded
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say an 8-month-old baby and two other passengers in a car escaped injury when the vehicle crashed after the driver was shot and wounded.
Police say the vehicle was southbound on U.S. 95 near North Decatur Boulevard late Thursday night when it crashed with another vehicle.
No immediate arrest was made and no information was released on a possible motive for the shooting.
Police said the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of a single gunshot wound that wasn’t considered life-threatening. His identity wasn’t released.
