LHS’s Ernst Receives Fellowship
ASHLAND, Ohio -- Amanda Ernst, a teacher at Lowell High School, received a prestigious Summer Fellowship by the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University in Ohio.
The center is a highly regarded, nonprofit provider of educational programs for teachers of United States History Government teachers, as well as high-school and college students.
Ernst chose to participate in a two-week “Live Online Graduate Course” on Sectionalism and the Civil War. The full cost of tuition was covered for teachers receiving the Summer Fellowship.
The fellowship was made possible through generous funding support from the Lincoln and Therese Filene Foundation of Boston.
