Omaha neighborhood groups can apply for up to $5,000 in grant money
Omaha neighborhood groups are invited to apply for grants through the Mayor’s Office.
Eligible projects are those that improve the quality of life, increase public safety and help prevent crime.
Past awards have helped citizen patrols buy equipment and neighborhood associations buy park equipment, among other items.
Neighborhoods can receive up to $5,000. A total of $75,000 is available this year. The deadline to apply is March 26.
Organizations registered and listed in the neighborhoods directory can apply. Applications are available at https://mayors-office.cityofomaha.org/neighborhoods.
