Waupun Correctional officer accused of sexually assaulting six year old girl
JUNEAU – A 33-year-old Hustisford man, who was employed as a correctional officer at Waupun Correctional Institution has been charged with sexually assaulting the 6-year-old daughter of his live-in girlfriend.
Martin A. Lee is charged with two felony counts of first degree child sexual assault. He could be sentenced up to 120 years in prison.
Lee appeared before Dodge County Court Commissioner Steven Seim Wednesday and was given a $50,000 cash bond with the conditions that he not have any direct or indirect contact with the woman he had been living with, the victim or her other children. He may not have any direct or indirect contact or communication with any minor females. He also may not leave the state.
According to the criminal complaint, the woman contacted the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office on Monday after her daughter told her that her that Lee had sexually assaulted her. The girl said that Lee began assaulting her only in the mornings before taking her to school and did it on a regular basis. They both were clothed during the assaults.
Martin met Dodge County deputies at the Waupun Police Department. He originally denied assaulting the girl, but according to the complaint ended up telling the deputies that it happened about five times.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for Dec. 28.
