Suspect arrested in June 28 shooting incident

HUNTINGTON – A 25-year-old man was arrested Sunday, July 1, and charged with a shooting incident that occurred June 28 in the 4200 block of Ohio River Road.

Earl D. Davis III, of Proctorville, Ohio, was arrested at his place of employment on U.S. 60 and charged with malicious wounding and wanton endangerment, according to a release from Huntington Police Chief Hank Dial. He was taken to Western Regional Jail, and his bond was set at $50,000 cash only.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are expected.
