In addition, another man was questioned and released after telling police he had shot the victim, but few details, including the name of the man questioned, have been released about the incident by police. No charges were immediately filed, and police say the shooting remains under investigation.
According to information from the Kalispell Police Department, Araujo was shot by another Kalispell resident inside the shooter’s home sometime before 6 p.m. Saturday. Police say the two men knew each other.
