Gould ousts televisions from Fort Mohave office
When Mohave County Supervisor Ron Gould took office this last month, one of his first efforts in shaving county costs was with the removal of three flat screen televisions from his Fort Mohave office.
“When I took ownership over District 5’s Lake Havasu City and Fort Mohave offices, it came as a surprise,” Gould announced at Monday’s meeting with the Mohave County Board of Supervisors. “I had them removed … we’re not there to watch television. We have things to do. If there’s some kind of emergency, we can use the Internet.”
The television sets will be transported to a county warehouse, Gould said.
Additionally, Gould also announced he would be canceling a satellite television subscription held by his Fort Mohave office.
