Scottsbluff Police Department

Dec. 5

9:27 a.m. — Police investigated a child abuse and neglect report alleging sexual contact. Investigators determined the cause to be unfounded.

12:49 p.m. — In the 900 block of Winter Creek Drive, police investigated a report of counterfeiting/forgery. Further details were not in the report.

1:09 p.m. — At Bluffs Middle School (27 E. 23rd St.), police investigated a report of an assault that occurred during lunch. One female juvenile was cited on a charge of third-degree assault.

3:20 p.m., — Police investigated a child abuse and neglect report involving a 3-year-old child. Three juveniles were placed into protective custody.

3:43 p.m. — At West 16th Street and Avenue A, officers topped a driver who was allegedly speeding in the 1800-1900 blocks of Avenue A. Roy Briones, 41, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, no operator’s license and refusal to submit to chemical test.

8:52 p.m. — In the 1400 block of Fourth Avenue, police were dispatched to a report of a suicidal male. In attempting to locate the male, police located Jesus Cruz. Cruz was arrested on a charge of obstructing an officer and a Scotts Bluff County warrant.

10 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue.

Dec. 6

2:48 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a vandalism in the 200 block of E. 14th Street.

8:30 a.m. — Police investigated a report of child abuse/neglect involving an infant child. The investigation was ongoing as of the date of the report.

10:08 a.m. — Police responded to an injury collision at E. 15th St./10th Ave. Deborah Lawler was cited on a charge of failing to yield the right of way.

1:32 p.m. — Police investigated a collision at a parking lot at First Avenue and E. Overland. Minor damage to the vehicles was reported.

2:10 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a theft from a mailbox in the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue.

10:51 p.m. — In the 100 block of Woodley Park Road, police investigated a vandalism.

Dec. 3

Brian E. Zitterkopf, 54, was sentenced to 30 days jail and fined $50 on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Dec. 5

Raymond Martinez, 53, was sentenced to 15 days jail and fined $50 on a charge of second-degree trespassing.

Rawlyn Lohr, 22, was fined $150 on a charge of driving under suspension.

Aaron B. Roach, 35, was fined $150 on a charge of driving under suspension.

David Marez, 50, was fined $150 on a charge of dog at large.

Dec. 6

Tony Canseco, 25, was fined $354 on charges of dog at large and no dog license.

Savannah Kidd, 30, was sentenced to six months probation and fined $61 on a charge of third-degree domestic assault.

Dec. 7

Paul Anthony, 43, was fined $150 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Adam S. Soto, 18, was fined $400 on charges of minor in possession and possession of an open container.

Charges of theft by shoplifting and failure to appear against Winona Little Eagle were dismissed.

Denci Jiron, 24, was fined $250 on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Victoria N. Canseco, 29, was fined $150 on a charge of driving under suspension.

A charge of unlawful entry without a park permit against Michael Grubbs, 40, was dismissed.
