Dan Crenshaw gets top billing at California Republican fundraiser
It’s becoming clear that Houston is going to have to share Dan Crenshaw.
The first term Congressman continues to be in high demand in the national media and on the political speaking circuit. This weekend, Crenshaw will be a headliner at a Lincoln Day Republican fundraising dinner in the California district of the top-ranking Republican in the U.S. House. House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Bakersfield, is also expected to speak, but it’s Crenshaw who is featured on social media ads as the “special guest” for the $75 per-person fundraiser in Bakersfield on Friday.
In the posting, Kern County Republicans specifically thank McCarthy for helping to bring Crenshaw to their community.

Also this week, Crenshaw was taping an episode of The Circus, a political series on Showtime. One of the hosts of that program, Mark McKinnon, posted photos on Twitter of himself interviewing Crenshaw for the program.
Crenshaw, a retired Navy SEAL, won a seat in the U.S. House in November in the 2nd Congressional District in Houston. He’s become an instant national draw after appearances on Saturday Night Live and the Today Show to go along with numerous segments on FOX News Channel programs.
