Life-sized Candy Land game coming to Cary to raise money to send sick kids on Orlando vacations

April 9, 2019 GMT

If your kids love the thrill of a good game of Candy Land, how would they feel about a life-sized version of it?

The NC State chapter of Give Kids the World will host a Life-Sized Candy Land from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 12, at Bond Park Community Center, 150 Metro Park Dr., Cary. Tickets are $12. When you buy two or more tickets, you get half off the cost for your group.

Here’s a description of the evening’s activities: “The hit board game Candy Land is brought to life with zany characters, fun games, sweet crafts and plenty of delicious candy to take home.”

The event, put on by the NC State chapter of Give Kids the World, is a fundraiser for Give Kids the World Village in Orlando, Fla., which provides children with life-threatening illnesses and their families a week-long, no-cost vacation.
