Longmont Crews Put Out Fire in Parking Structures on Warren Avenue
Longmont firefighters were able to put out a fire that spread from leaves to parking structures behind an apartment complex this morning.
The fire was called in at 11:23 a.m. in the 1600 block of Warren Avenue, Longmont fire spokeswoman Molly Cropp said.
Cropp said the fire started in some leaves and debris between two apartments at the address. The flames then spread to a fence and then two parking structures behind the complexes.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire before it spread beyond the parking structures, which suffered some minor damage.
There were no injuries reported.
Cropp said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
