Keith A. Lowman, 71, of St. Anne, and formerly of Momence, passed away Monday (April 1, 2019) at Momence Meadows Nursing Home, Momence.
He was born Dec. 21, 1947, in Kankakee, the son of Gerald and Frances Hupp Lowman.
Surviving are his two children, Renee (Gerry) Segert, of Grant Park, and Adam Lowman, of Coal City; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve Lowman, of St. Anne, Tommy (Beth) Lowman, of Arkansas, and David (Kristin) Lowman, of Georgia; and two sisters, Susan Henson, of Momence, and Michelle Lowman, of Joliet.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and two sisters, Christine Iten and Pamela Lowman.
Keith was a mason and worked for Union Local 692 in Merrillville, Ind.
He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Per his request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
