4 Burgess brothers to play on at South Sydney
SYDNEY (AP) — The four Burgess brothers will continue to make South Sydney an English enclave in the National Rugby League.
On Wednesday, 21-year-old twins George and Tom joined Sam and Luke in signing new contracts as the first-place Rabbitohs seek their first NRL title since 1971.
George signed a three-year deal ending in 2016, while fellow prop Tom is committed for the next two seasons.
George Burgess has six tries in 19 games this season and could make his international debut for England at the end-of-season World Cup. Sam has played played 11 tests for England and Britain, and is signed with Souths until the end of 2016.
Luke, the oldest of the four props, has not played a first-grade match this season due to a shoulder injury.
