ORMAN RAY HALL, 75, of Barboursville, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Midland Meadows. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Bill Davis. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park. He was born July 21,1942, a son of the late William Cecil and Vennie Jewel Reynolds Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Preston Hall and Dillard Hall. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Baumgardner Hall; one daughter, Kelli Carter of Huntington; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Melody Hall of Barboursville; one sister, Hester McCallister of Barboursville; one brother. Jay Hall of Georgia; three grandchildren, Corey, Hogan and Heidi; step-granddaughter Ashley Mon-tanola and her husband William; and a host of family and friends. He was a 1961 graduate of Milton High School, lettering in football, basketball, and track. He was a teacher, coach, and principal for the Cabell County School System. He held various positions with many organizations. Cub Scouts, Little League, was a member of the Barboursville Lions Club, and a former council member for the City of Barboursville. Orman’s gentle nature and quick wit was appreciated by all. A few of his favorite hobbies were watching sports, enjoying nature, and his constant involvement with his grandchildren. His 53-year marriage is an example of a true love story. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
