Phyllis (Bade) Trubach, 92, of Manteno, passed away May 1, 2019, at Amita Health Heritage Village in Kankakee.
She was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Kankakee, the daughter of Leo and Mary Doyle DesLauriers. Phyllis married Stanley Bade on June 19, 1948. He preceded her in death June 21, 1975. On Oct. 3, 1981, Phyllis married Virgil E. Trubach.
She had worked at State Savings & Loan.
Phyllis attended Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Grant Park.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil Trubach, of Manteno; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Lou Dolan and Karen Sue and Bob Braun; three stepchildren, Sandra and Ray Newby, Bruce and Diana Trubach and Patricia and Ray Long; two grandchildren, Justin Braun and Colleen Post and Eric and Jaime Dolan; four great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn (Braun) Nosa; one step-grandson, Tim Trubach; and one brother-in-law, Rodney Wilson.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11, until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. The Rev. Dan Herold will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Aroma Township.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley or Amita Health Heritage Village.
